Imagine a romantic destination: Venezia. Imagine the most perfect way to go there: The Orient Express. Imagine now the most appropriate watch to wear in such circumstances... San Marco, Canal Grande.... Dreams, and pleasure. Best, Nicolas...

Great choice

Nico, my Friend, I am sure that we did not discuss this in Paris... I visited Venezia on 14th December last year with my new girlfriend. In the evening after a great dinner we walked back to the hotel via Piazza San Marco. It was not the touristic season ...

Damn, Kari, you're more romantic than me... :)

I was in Venezia last summer, it was too crowded to fully appreciate this magic place, but I brought with me some appropriate watches such as the U.N Sonata, to match with the " Torre dell ' Orologio ", and the MMR. Next time, in summer, I'ill bring with ...

Romantic indeed! :)

And the perfect watch to bring on such a trip! That is actually always the biggest problem when travelling – which watch(es) to bring… A vintage Reverso is something I really have to hunt down one day… Best Blomman

Which watches to bring???

 By: amanico : May 15th, 2010-05:45
It all depends on where you go, and what you'll do. During the summer Holidays, I take a lot of watches with me, for the pleasure to change them as aften as I want in the day or night, to live some priviledged moments with them, well, to take some time wi...

No, maybe not…

For instance, in a few weeks – I am going to Switzerland for a couple of days… I won’t have time to change during the days … Maybe one day and one evening watch X 2. So let’s narrow it down to four. I really don’t know which ones to bring… Depending on oc...

So, you'll need a dressy watch for your nights, and a sporty watch for the day... The Polaris, and the Memo International may be two easy options. Therefore, you'll have the Alarm to wake you up. Easy, isn't it? Aaah, by the way, if you go to Swiss, son't...

Well…

That was my first thought as well… Since the MI is new But then I have to choose between -65 and -68…! Probably I will go for the -65… Thanks for the heads up! I have never experienced any trouble, but a friend of mine did… Best Blomman

Me too,

I experienced some serious troubles when I came back from the Manufacture, in last October... It ended well, but God, it was horribly complicated... Best, Nicolas

I am thinking of adding one to my little collection. But I am torn between the -Grande Taille with its small seconds at six -and the Classic with the original dimensions difficult choice... Best Rob. This message has been edited by peregrino on 2010-05-15...

Your wrist will decide...

The Grande Taille or the Classic.... I would say the GT, easier to wear than the Classic, but if you want to go the closest bpossible from the origins, so the Classic is for you. Another choice? The Vintage! Best, Nicolas

Was in Venice last November - loved it. A very underrated city
